How do I enter?

I won an IP (in perpetuity) trophy last year, what do I do with it?
You will be emailed with details of where to drop your trophy depending on the discipline you won it in. You need to arrange your name and year on the trophy before returning it.
What if I need to withdraw?
Please advise us as soon as you're able - we're unable to move sections around once they're set
When will I find out where and when we are performing?
A programme of events will be emailed to you at the start of August
Information for Volunteers

Each of our arts have the following general roles;
Door tickets - greeting audience members and taking entry money from them via cash or EFT; also selling raffle tickets and festival programmes - at least two people

Music/poem secretary - accepting sheet music or poetry/readings from competitors at the start of a session, and collating it in prepared folders for the adjudicator, also writing winners names on prize cards as they are announced, and filling in prize sheets for publication and archiving - usually one person

Canteen - assisting in the preparation and serving of basic meals and snacks in a kitchen environment, including taking payment via cash or EFT - at least three people
​
Stage Manager - similar to an MC role, announcing session items, competitors, assisting a smooth transition as the adjudicator is ready for the next performance, and assisting the adjudicator in giving out correct trophies, medals, and ribbons - one person
​
Penciller - assists the adjudicator in having the correct sheet music/poem/reading/ adjudication sheet in front of them for each performance, as well as timing some performances, and assisting with rule clarification using the Syllabus - one person

All volunteers are required to have a valid Working With Children's Check, regardless of which role they fill. Volunteers may obtain a free WWCC via this link;

Additional roles;
Backing Tracks - vocalists, choirs, and instrumentalists will sometimes have a backing track for their performance - a volunteer would assist to play this through a sound system from a phone or laptop, and monitor the sound level so the performer is heard and can hear their backing track - confidence with sound and technology is necessary - one person

Stage Crew - to assist in moving chairs, music stands, and concert band gear on stage, as well as assisting in the bump in and out of a venue - up to five people
