- check the time limit for your piece; you may be penalised for going over - you may remove repeats or shorten intros to keep to time

- bring a clean copy of your music for the adjudicator to follow; you can submit this on the day of your performance, this will be available around 30mins prior to performances starting- check specific rules about your section (e.g., 'contemporary pop' pieces must have been released in the last 20 years; Open Vocal Championship must be two contrasting arias from specific periods)

- if you have a backing track please bring it on a phone device - we cannot use CDs, and USBs can be unreliable. If you have questions about this, please get in contact well before the event

- if you won a perpetual trophy last year, you should have received an email with details about how to return this - please respond to this if you haven't already

- we use the time limit of pieces to estimate running times of session, and these are programmed to run three hours or less. Even if you are not in the first section, it is best to arrive prior to the start of the session so you can submit your music without rushing, and watch some of your peers perform.

Entry to all events except those at the Civic Theatre are $5 at the door, cash and card options will be available.

Please get in contact if you have any questions, we are so looking forward to seeing all the fantastic performances this year.
